Mobile Monday: Homeschooling

Pictures taken with iPhone 4, using Camera+ or Instagram apps.

Wow! The past week went by super fast, partly because I was finally recovered from my tooth drama, and had a ton of work and homeschooling to catch up, but also because I had a very special guest come over the weekend. I will share about her in another post.

As usual, on Mondays I share pictures taken with a mobile phone, to capture the small little moments I might not otherwise capture. This week I didn’t get all that many, and the ones I did take were homeschooling related.

The above picture is my 2nd grader, who crawled up in bed with me (when I wasn’t feeling the best) to do her reading. She is really starting to take off with her reading and I am so proud of her.

Below is a picture of my 7th grader in his Challenge A (with Classical Conversations) class, as they each dissect a cow eyeball. You can see the moms hovering around, but not because the kids needed help, but because we were trying to see what they were doing (and taking pictures).

I am going to try to take a picture each day this week and next week post a collage. By the end of the year, I hope to be able to do a poster of all my iPhone pictures taken throughout 2012.

  1. Love this!
Did you know Home Schooling in now banned in Sweden? Law passed in 2010…How sad!
I pray it doesn’t happen here!

  2. I have several friends that participate in Classical Conversations 🙂 Love homeschooling! It is sad that so many are so “afraid” of it and that it’s banned in Sweden 🙁 PRAYING it doesn’t happen here. They are trying and we have to be very alert! Thanks for sharing!!!
