Everyday Elements Turns Two Today

I cannot believe it has been two years since I held my very first Photoshop Elements workshop!!Β  The time has flown by, probably because it has been such a fun and pleasurable experience for me.

For those who are newer to Everyday Elements, here is a brief historyΒ  for you:

  • The workshops came about because I saw there was a need for more specific PSE instruction, that most online tutorials and workshops were for Photoshop alone.
  • After I began the PSE workshops, many were asking me photography questions and that led to the Everyday Photography workshop.
  • As the blog and workshops became known a little bit, people started asking to buy my actions, which had previously been exclusive for workshop attendees. So, Everyday Actions came into being.

I wanted to have some grand things ready to share today, however having a sick child this week set me back a bit. But, this set-back has helped me come up with a better plan – a whole week of celebrating, including some new product launches, three BIG giveaways and more. The big-bash will begin Monday, so please come back and join in!

Since today is EE’s actual birthday, I want to do something special, so how about a giveaway and a limited time coupon?

Coupon: For 24 hours only (meaning it ends at 1:30 PM EST, May 26) get 40% off anything at EE – use the coupon code ‘eebday40’ at checkout.

Giveaway: I am giving away two one-hour private sessions (topic can be editing or photography, winners choose). GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED

  • The first winner will be drawn from those who leave a comment on this post, telling me what you think my height is. πŸ˜‰
  • The second winner will be drawn from those who make a purchase by tomorrow at 1:30 PM EST.

Giveaway will close at 1:30 PM EST tomorrow, Saturday, May 26. Winners will be chosen via Random.org. Private sessions will be held in July.

Winner from the comments was #4, Patsy, and the winner from the purchases was #18, Shanna. I have sent emails to the winners, so if you are one of them and haven’t received my email, check your junk mail please.
