A fun little DIY by Beckie

Written by Beckie of beckiegkengle.com

I am a big fan of saving money! When I came across these cool little items called LensBling by BlackRapid (rear lens caps with lens-length identifiers on them), I knew I could make something very similar for a lot less money! And of course they would have my own personal touch to them! 🙂

Items you’ll need for this little project: the rear lens caps from your lenses, a package of Round Kitchen Labels (1 5/8″) by Martha Stewart exclusively at Staples (they come in a package with 36 labels for approx $5.99), and your favorite color Sharpies!

Using the Sharpies, have fun with writing your lens length numbers on the labels. Then place the labels on the back side of your rear lens cap. These labels are not made of paper, so if you mess up putting them on the lens cap or decide that you ever want to take them off, they will peel right off!

This is a fun, easy, and inexpensive way to find your lenses in your bag! The numbers stand out making it very easy to grab the lens you need!

Over the next few months, I’ve got some more reviews planned and another DIY project so stay tuned…
