I have been missing-in-action for a while from the blog and Facebook, but for a good reason: I traveled to New York City to be part of The Blographer Event, put on by Adorama, and then to attend one day of the BlogHer 2012 blog conference.
Our family was split in three groups for the trip, with two children going to my in-laws home and two to my sister’s home, while my husband and I make the trek to New York. We are all kind of settling back in today and will need a few days to recover.
A quick note about The Blographer Event – it was a wonderful opportunity and I was extremely honored to stand up with those incredibly talented ladies! I had a wonderful time and hope to have the honor and pleasure of doing more speaking engagements in the future.
The image below is from Erin Cobb‘s Instagram feed. My husband did not think to get a single picture of me while I was “on stage” at any point during the event (in other words, he so doesn’t have a photographer’s mindset LOL).

Another thing not to miss tomorrow is the (tardy) newsletter. Yes, I missed June and July, but will have August’s out tomorrow morning. If you are not already registered for the newsletter, you can subscribe below. The newsletter is different from the blog feed subscription. If you receive EE’s blog posts via email, you will still need to register for the monthly newsletter, which is sent out via MailChimp.
