Website Update and Problem to Fix

New Checkout Cart

This past weekend I installed a new plug-in that would allow for a more streamlined checkout process, and allow customers to access their past purchases. About 30 people have tested it for me and the reviews are all very positive. A few kinks to work out here and there, but overall it is a good change.

Blog Tab Broken

Another interesting development, although not a happy one, that occured over the weekend was that the “blog” tab quit working. It was there but when you clicked on it, nothing showed. Blank. I tested everything I knew to test (including turning off all plug-ins and turning back on, one at a time). So, I took down that tab and will wait for my coder to help me.

You can still access the blog posts, via the “Recent Posts” section in the sidebar or via the Tutorial Index. I apologize for any inconvenience this presents and will try to get it resolved as quickly as possible.

Newsletter Revamped

The “monthly” newsletter, which last year was really a “quarterly” newsletter, is turning into a WEEKLY newsletter. I am cutting down the amount in the newsletter and will keep it very brief – a quick tip and one or two announcements/reminders. And, I will reinstate the free action, but it will only be in the first newsletter of the month.

If you are not receiving the newsletter, but would like to be, you can register for it by clicking HERE.

“Under Construction”

Curious about the image above? That was my house in 2004. AND, this is not the worst it looked. We tore down even more before we got to a point where we could build back new. 😉 It is an old house and needed a LOT of help. Wonder what it looks like now? See this POST, scrolling down to the bottom picture. One of these days I will tell the whole renovation story at my personal blog.

Anyway, I thought the picture would relate to the maintenance issues I am having right now. The website is in need of some changes and upgrades, so be prepared for more “construction” changes in the next few months.
