Fix It Friday {Photoshop Elements Before and After}

I Heart Faces provided a great shot of a beautiful little girl for our editing fun with Fix It Friday #79. I cleaned up the image with Deep Clean, a cleaning action of mine, but really you don’t need any action to do a good, clean edit. I have a clean edit tutorial, where I shared some useful steps for creating a clean edit on your own.

All edits were done in Photoshop Elements 9.

Below is the straight-out-of-the-camera shot they gave us to play with:

Here is my clean edit.

Here is a closer crop of the before picture along with the after image too.

Want to try your hand at editing this shot? Head over to this week’s Fix It Friday and follow their instructions for downloading the file and linking up.

  6. Hi Amanda–I can’t remember where I am supposed to ask a question–anyway–you can correct me to where–

    On my Clean Edit–when I try to smoothe the skin, I am getting black marks!! It worked on my first couple of edits–then all of the sudden–black marks were brushed on–any ideas?
