Thank You!

Edited in LR 3 using Pretty Presets Deep Blue preset.

Thank you all for your enthusiastic response to my fundraiser packet, workshops and videos!! I have to tell you that the result FAR exceeded my hopes! I was able to get the iPad to Linda before they left for Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, NC.

The iPad has enabled Linda to capture Delanie’s progress in videos and pictures, which she sends to me and I upload for others to see (the hospital Internet blocks her from uploading to YouTube). She has also been able to email friends, pay bills online, let Delanie watch movies on Netflix and play with game apps (for Delanie).

I am sharing with you the results of fundraiser so you can see what a great thing you have done for these families.

Fundraiser packet: $2825

Watch Me Work workshops: $195

Watch Me Work video access: $570

Donations (total for both girls): $989

Grand Total: $4579

The extra funds will go to help pay for things like much-increased cell phone bills, gas, food, new helmet for Delanie, new book bags for the girls (theirs were beyond ruined in the accident), and of course to whatever medical expenses that will flow through to them.

HUGE thank  you to Kim Klassen for donating 150 texture sets and to Laura at Pretty Presets for her coupon code. It was their generosity that helped make the fundraiser a success.

Going forward from here….I am going to remove the purchase link for the fundraiser packet but the actions will be available for sale as a small set on their own for $8. The Watch Me Work video access and workshops will also be available, but proceeds from today on will go to Everyday Elements. Unfortunately the accident has given Everyday Elements a hit financially and I need to get back rolling because of the overhead and bills to pay. Donations will of course still go to the girls’ families.

If you would like to purchase the action packet, Watch Me Work session or videos, or make a donation to one/both of the girls, you can still do so at the Fundraiser post.

Note: All pictures shared in this post captured with a Canon P&S, not my Nikon D700 (in case you were wondering LOL).
