Mobile Monday

It has been a crazy -busy past two weeks, which has led me to be a little AWOL with posting. Thanks for your patience!

Since Mondays are “Mobile Mondays” here at EE now, I am going to share with you some pictures taken through the last week, using just my iPhone.

The top one is me finally getting a long overdue haircut and color (had to hide that gray). I’ve been going to the same hair stylist for over 10 years now and I love that I can just go and say “do whatever you want, Carla” and she always comes though with a cut that flatters my face and shape and makes me feel good about myself.

Above and below are pictures taken when I stopped at a fire station in a nearby town, so that my 11 year old could satisfy a final requirement for his fire safety badge with the Boy Scouts. The chief was amazingly gracious with us, and showed the kids a few of the trucks and gave a tour of the station.

Finally, we wrapped up the week with a visit to see my niece Delanie, who had surgery to remove the steel rod in her leg (from the accident she was in last year). We bought her a Webkinz rabbit to cheer her up, and she was thrilled with it. Bless her heart, she was tired of the bed and had taken a nap on the couch.

She was released from the hospital Saturday and is already up and walking around a good bit. Thank you for all your love and support after her accident and throughout the year!
