Photoshop Elements 11 Now Available
When Photoshop Elements 11 was released last month, it created a bit of a stir with the major changes Adobe implemented. I wrote a review of the program, along with a video tour of the “expert” (old Full Edit) mode. If you missed the review, you can read it by clicking here.
I have been sick a good bit lately, so my ability to create new content for Everyday Elements has been limited. You have been very patient in my absence, and I appreciate that. However, to liven things up a bit, I thought I would do a giveaway.
This week I am giving away TWO copies of Photoshop Elements 11!

I adore my Kindle – I find that I consistently reach for that instead of paper books these days just because it’s so much more compact and convenient, and the leather cover I’ve got still gives it that “holding a book” feel.
I have a Kindle and I LOVE it! My husband got me hooked on mine.

I don’t have a dedicated e-reader. I do however use the Kindle app on my iphone, touchpad and computer!
I actually share a Kindle w/my oldest son. He is a Speed reader I couldn’t keep up w/him and going to the library so I just hop on amazon and grab some books for him so he can read them. If I am lucky he’ll let see it once a month!
I don’t have an e-reader yet, but I’ve been looking for one. This is perfect timing and great to hear what everyone likes or doesn’t like. I really need one because we literally live on an island and it takes me 3 hours to get back to the island when picking up kids from school. Not because of distance-its only a 5 minute boat ride to the mainland, but because of living by a boat schedule. I get tired of carrying heavy books in my purse and I have LOTS of time to read. The awesome side of living on an island is all the beautiful things to photograph-deer, birds, old historic military buildings-that’s where Photoshop would come in handy! Nook and iPad
I have a kindle fire. I love it so much more than I thought I would. Especially when I travel. No more taking 50lbs of books with me.;)
I started out with a Nook (and I still love it) but received an iPad from hubby for my birthday last year. I downloaded the Nook for iPad ap and now pretty much use it for reading (and so much more). I like the Nook for size and battery life though. I am finding it is very beneficial to have two e-readers with 5 reading grandchildren as well. Not so much fighting going on as when there was just the Nook. Hubby and I live on a sailboat in the summer and it is really great not to have to lug pounds and pounds of space eating books aboard each season! ~chris
I never thought I would love my Kindle Fire as much as I do. I was one of those people that always said real books were better. I love that I can travel with a bunch of different books and also have Internet connectivity at the same time on a small device.

Amanda – Wishing you all the best for a speedy recovery. I do have an e-reader and it is Kindle. I am yet to upgrade to Elements 11 and it would be great to get it for free 🙂
I do not have an e-reader. I go back and forth as to if I really want one. Last year I kind of wanted teh Kindle Fire but didn’t want to spend the money. If I read more I think I would definitely have one.
We are a Kindle family- 2 kindles & one Kindle Fire. We love them. My 8yo daughter got the Fire for Christmas. She loves it. She lays in bed when she wakes up and reads every morning.
I have the Kindle app on my droid phone. It is great to have your current book in your hand at all times. They have whisper sync. so you can read the book and then switch to audible when in the car, great for commuting.
We have a iPad on the way, we will see which one is better for us. I think both.
