I bought version 10 the day after it came out and I have been very pleased with the new features they added to the program.
- Rule of Thirds grid and other overlays to the crop tool
- Type tool that allow text to follow circular paths
- Improved speed and flow of Organizer
- Ability to access Facebook friends list for tagging images in Organizer, for later upload to Facebook
- More templates for creating collages and photo albums
At the very bottom of this post, there is a video giving a little tour of Photoshop Elements 10.
A question asked a lot when a new version of Photoshop Elements is released is: “Should I upgrade?” Here is my .02 worth on it:
- If you have PSE 7 or older, definitely upgrade. So much has been added and enhanced that it is worth the money to upgrade.
- If you have PSE 8 or PSE 9, no, I probably wouldn’t upgrade. Honestly, if you have some extra funds, I would recommend buying Lightroom 3 to use in combination with your PSE, rather than upgrading to PSE 10.

My favorite season is definitely Fall! I love the color of the trees and crisp air. The Halloween candy is an added bonus!
I have PSE9 but really would love the have a rule of thirds grid…and Spring is my favorite time of year!
When the first warmth and color of Spring arrive, that’s my favorite. But when the first cool and color of Fall arrive, that’s my favorite.

My favorite season is Fall, hands down. As Hallmark-ish as this sounds, it’s everything I love wrapped into one: family, cozy sweaters, apple cider, and a great big pile of (dry!!) leaves to jump into.

My favorite season is Fall — I’m a cooler weather person (I like Winter too!) who loves the sights and scents of Fall. You just can’t beat the glorious colors, the feeling of community and family that harvest time and Thanksgiving bring. And it’s a time where we start preparing to settle in a bit. Since I love to quilt, crochet and snuggle up in front of the fireplace or TV and read or watch movies, it’s just MY season.
One thing I’ve been promising myself is to learn how to edit photos and start taking my photography to the next level. Winning a copy of PSE 10 would go a long way towards making that happen! So I am hopeful that Random.org picks me! LOL.

I am a Spring type of girl. I love working in the yard, getting the gardens started and watching the buds come on the trees and flowers.
Fall. The colors are just so magnificent and so warm and comforting.
I like all of the seasons, but I guess my favorite is fall. I love the color of the leaves changing colors, the cooler weather, heading into the holidays and winter…
My favorite is definitely fall. Our colors in Utah have gone of for weeks and are starting to wind down in the mountains. I have Fridays off and have enjoyed many hikes in our local canyons to shoot the beautiful colors. Even 3 Moose at one spot, for a moment I thought 2 young males were going to chase me down the trail but the stopped and didn’t follow. What a thrill that was!
I favorite season is by far FALL. I love the cooler weather and the leaves changing colors,bon fires, long walks, Halloween, Thanksgiving .. I love it all

Living in Georgia I love a four seasons but my favorite is Spring when trees, flowers and plants are coming to life again. I can start working in my flower and vegetable gardens.

I have always loved fall… the weather, the color, the sheer beauty of it. A friend once said “Why? Everything is dying in the fall… why don’t you love spring the most?” As I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to realize that with both people and seasons, some of the greatest beauty is found near the end.

Definitely summer. Here in the Upper Midwest the trees and plants are an incredible shade of green and so lush. I LOVE the heat. Because we have to close our houses up completely in the winter I can’t wait to open up the windows and let the outside in.
No question in my mind ……. fall. In SoCal, it’s so hot during the summer that fall is our *hint* that cooler weather is right around the corner.
