I bought version 10 the day after it came out and I have been very pleased with the new features they added to the program.
- Rule of Thirds grid and other overlays to the crop tool
- Type tool that allow text to follow circular paths
- Improved speed and flow of Organizer
- Ability to access Facebook friends list for tagging images in Organizer, for later upload to Facebook
- More templates for creating collages and photo albums
At the very bottom of this post, there is a video giving a little tour of Photoshop Elements 10.
A question asked a lot when a new version of Photoshop Elements is released is: “Should I upgrade?” Here is my .02 worth on it:
- If you have PSE 7 or older, definitely upgrade. So much has been added and enhanced that it is worth the money to upgrade.
- If you have PSE 8 or PSE 9, no, I probably wouldn’t upgrade. Honestly, if you have some extra funds, I would recommend buying Lightroom 3 to use in combination with your PSE, rather than upgrading to PSE 10.

My favorite time of year is Spring! I love taking picture of my grandkids at that time of the year!
Fall is of course beautiful, but down here in Florida we just get Fall like so many folks. I get really excited for Spring. It lasts about a week, so you have to hurry but it’s worth every shot and every long drive.
Summer is my favorite season. Love the sun, vacations and flowers!

Fall is my absolute favorite season. The delicately sunkissed leaves, the brisk mornings and the deep glow of the evening sun are all things I look forward to every year. This season not only brings the opportunity to express thankfulness (thanksgiving) but also cooler temperatures. Being that I’m a texas girl, cooler temperatures are always welcomed 🙂

My favorite season of the year is spring–a rebirth of nature.
My favorite season, without a doubt, is summer. It’s so short here, and our winters are so brutal (and spring is pretty much non-existent) that when summer hits it’s a huge relief!
Definitely fall, I love everything about fall!
Autumn is my favorite season. Out comes the slow cooker, legumes, firewood and the sheepskin rug.
My favorite season is summer, you can spend all day outside, enjoy lovely long evenings, go camping and sailing and do so many exciting things!! (also my birthday is in the middle of summer!!)
While I too like fcall as it starts to get cool here in central Florida, my favorite season is the Holiday season. Ilove how the weather is here, but more than that I love the music and atmosphere and good will that seems to come around only that time of yer. I really love from October for the crazy scary movies to the love and warmth of Chritmas. I love to bake Thanksgiving dinner and for my fa,mily and coming up with new recipes for meals and dessert for Christmas. It is the time I take lots of pictures, and the best part is not having snow to shovel, but cooler weather to enjoy. 😀

Fall is my favorite season. The outdoor colors are beautiful, and the humidity is almost non-existent. Which means this gals hair cooperates.

I absolutely LOVE Autumn!! But sadly, here in Mesa Arizona we have a very short (and warm) fall season and have to drive the mountains to see fall foliage.
As much as I enjoy Fall, I LOVE Summer! Baseball games, cookouts, camping, time at the lake with your favorite people, feeling the warm sun on your skin, laying at the pool listening to the kids have fun, driving with your windows open and music playing, making memories during summer vacation….I made myself miss it already!
Fall is the most magical time! It’s the year ending in a shower of vibrance and color! Plus, the smells are just incredible. I am smelling freshly made apple butter that I just ate on a biscuit right now…WHOA!
Fall!! Spring is a close second… Love all the seasons though. VA has gorgeous contrast in seasons but not extremes. 🙂

Fall is my favorite . I was born Oct. 1rst, and always loved the colors.
I love Spring, although AZ winters are pretty nice, too (I guess they are like Spring for the rest of the country!).

My favorite season that’s easy, fall. I love the colors, light, smells…I L.O.V.E. everything about fall except it is not long enough!
Spring, especially late May and early June when the weather turns warmer and everything returns to green from the gray of winter.
I love all the seasons, well maybe only the first two months of winter! But my most favourite is summer! Love the birds, flowers, lush vegetation and sunshine!

I’m with you Amanda, fall is my favorite season! Florida summers are so oppressively hot that I always feel like a new woman when the temperatures drop a bit. Unfortunately we don’t have any “fall color” here but I live vicariously through others photos.
