The Benefits of Joining a Photography Forum {and TWO Special Free Workshops}

When I was new to photography, I struggled for months to really understand my camera. I felt alone with my photography journey, and honestly didn’t grow very much those first six months. However, when I discovered the world of photography forums, a whole new world opened up for me.

After joining a forum I learned so much about lenses, editing, posing and more. I was able to read others questions and answers and learn from their experiences.

Also, if you are like me, you can talk cameras, lenses, editing day and night but seldom have someone who wants to talk about it with you. Well, at a photography forum,  you are in the presence of others who are JUST LIKE  YOU, so you can talk photography as much or little as you like! The camaraderie was like a breath of fresh air.

If you are looking to join a photography forum board, one I highly recommend is Rock the Shot. The forum there is a fun and friendly community of photography enthusiasts, ranging from moms wanting to take better pictures of their kids, to seasoned professionals willing to teach you all the tips and tricks of the trade.

  • Have you ever wanted feedback on your images? Rock the Shot members and Mentors are there to offer critique.
  • Need an opinion on a product or vendors? The forum is the perfect place to ask for recommendations and testimonials to make sure your money is well spent.
  • Looking for more intensive or specialized education? Rock the Shot offers amazing workshops to help you achieve your photography goals.
  • Plus, the forum offers exclusive discounts and incredible freebie packets with products from all your favorite vendors (they are on Volume 10 freebie packet – yes TEN packets full of vendor products have been released FREE to members so far!)
Need even more incentives to join this wonderful community? You got it!!

Each person who joins Rock the Shot (via the link below) will be able to attend a FREE live, one hour photography or editing workshop with me, valued at $50 (they get to choose) to be held the first week in January.

In addition to the free workshop, each person will receive one of the following gift cards:

  • Sign up for a 3 month membership and get a $5 Gift Card to Everyday Elements.
  • Sign up for a 6 month membership and get a $10 Gift Card to Everyday Elements.
  • Sign up for a One-Year membership and get a $20 Gift Card to Everyday Elements.
  • Sign up for a Lifetime membership and get a $40 Gift Card to Everyday Elements.

The live workshop will be recorded and each attendee sent the link so they can view it as often as they want/need in the future. The editing workshop will be for both Photoshop CS# and Photoshop Elements and tackle overall workflow and color casts. The photography workshop will tackle metering and focus. If you cannot attend the live workshop, you will still be sent the video recording (of your choice) so you still benefit!
