Last week I held a giveaway for the Lastolite 8-in-1 reflector set. The response was enthusiastic, so much so that it breaks my heart to have just one winner.
The winning number, drawn via Random.org, was #282 and that comment was made by Dayna. Congratulations, Dayna! Check your email for an message from me.
I took my Lastolite reflector to Chicago, to use during the photography/editing workshop I held on Saturday. It was a very good thing, because we ended up having very strong sun and resorted toΒ shooting under a tree a good bit. The wind was blowing a good bit (Chicago isn’t named the “Windy City” for nothing), and the leaves were not a good filter for us, leaving a lot of “dappling” on our subjects. To help with this, I pulled the reflector cover off the Lastolite and used the base filter to create an even light over the subjects.
The sweet lady holding the reflector/filter in the picture above was my friend Carol, who hosted me while I was in Chicago. The workshop would NOT have been possible without her!
Below is a picture taken with the aid of the filter.
Thank you so much!!!!! I can’t wait to try the Lastolite Reflector π
Congrats, Dayna! Love this one. Amazing what a reflector can do. Have fun! π
