Are you new to photography or a veteran who needs inspiration? I have just the thing for you – Real. Life. Photography., a new ebook from Rebecca Cooper of Simple As That.
Real. Life Photography. is an super affordable, beautifully written and designed ebook which will give you inspiration and practical tips to help you capture sweet moments in your everyday life.
In 70 pages of photo fabulousness, Rebecca shares her best insider tricks for taking amazing photos in all kinds of real-life situations.
Illustrated by 127 real-life photos, this life-changing eBook is organized into six useful chapters, including: Photographing Real Life, Using Real Light, Capturing Real Relationships, Practicing Real Patience, Enhancing Real Photos, and Checklists for Real Life.
Another thing I loved about the book was that while I was reading I felt like I could hear her sweet voice coming through. Rebecca managed to instruct, educate and inspire without getting overly technical. For those who are still learning the basics of photography and their cameras, she included the settings used for each shot.
I love that her tips are common sense but often forgotten or not thought of things, like resetting your camera to generic settings before putting away for the day, or how to be sneaky to capture candid moments. The images she shares are of everyday life, but taken in a way that makes them meaningful and poignant.
Also included in the ebook are some of editing tips and actions she uses. The tips are good and I am sure the actions she mentions are wonderful too, but I can’t help but point you to my workflow action sets instead – Everyday Basics 123 (for new action users) or Everyday Essentials.
I highly recommend Real. Life. Photography. for everyone getting started in photography and for those who have been shooting a while but have lost their motivation, because this book really will inspire you to pick up your camera again! The regular price is $12.99 but they have an introductory offer of just $9.99.
Rebecca has graciously given me a copy of this book to give away to an Everyday Elements’ reader and since I think it is such a super ebook, I am going to give one away myself as well – so TWO people will win a copy of Real. Life. Photography this week!
