Hanging in There

If you don’t frequent Facebook, you may be wondering where the heck I have been lately. Well, for the past few weeks I have been battling a tooth ache, which at first was juts a nuisance, and which I could control with Motrin or Tylenol. I went to the dentist and he shaved down some of the new crown, thinking it was a bite issue.

Over the weekend the tooth decided to graduate from nuisance to near nightmare level. By Monday I could no longer manage the pain, and after a call to my dentist, I ended up with antibiotics and prescription pain medication and a referral to a root canal specialist.

The root canal was finally done today and hopefully I will have a much better night, and {fingers crossed} I can focus on work tomorrow.

I want to thank my sister Kirstie, for helping me with my kids and house while I was incapacitated from the toothache. Also, I very much appreciate Beckie Kengle keeping watch over Everyday Elements’ Facebook page. It was a big relief to know that things were being looked after both on the home and business fronts.

  3. Hey, Amanda, glad you are doing better and on the mend!! 🙂

  4. Glad you’ve got it taken care of. This can be one of the worst types of pain. Seeing the photo of the dentist office (those tools) … brought the memories back crystal clear of when I had my root canal. Not fun. I’m happy that you are not in all that pain. Hopefully you will have a great sleep tonight. I think it’s wonderful that you shared this with your readers. It establishes a “connection” on a more personal level. Who here cannot relate to pain? Here’s to feeling better real soon!
