A New Year With New Goals

I hope everyone had a wonderful time with friends and family over the holidays. For us it was peaceful. That sounds trite and simplistic, but for us peaceful was a blessing and a breath of fresh air.

Now it is 2014 now and time for some new goals for Everyday Elements. This site has been coasting, for lack of a better word. And, what is coasting? Well, that is basically going down hill at a very slight incline, right?

I want to coast no more.

The goals I have for EE in 2014 are:

  • Between 8 and 12 posts/tutorials each month (PSE/PS, Lightroom, and Photography)
  • 1 to 2 free webinars each month
  • 2 to 4 fun little giveaways each month

So basically I am shooting for CONSISTENCY. 😉 That is so much easier said than done.

Last year was full of challenges for me, but thankfully I had some wonderful people who were able to help me squeak by. I want to thank Beckie Kengle, Susan Dusseault, Elaine Simonsen for time and contributions to EE. Also, I want to thank my sister Kirsite, Rita at Coffeeshop and Laura at Pretty Presets for being a sounding board when I was a little bit mental. Lastly I want to thank my wonderful “admin,” Robin Bennett, Kathryn Lavallee and Tara Robertson.

What about you? Do you have any goals for the new year?

  1. I, for one, love your goals! For purely selfish reasons…I have probably learned more from your tutorials and advice than from any one other site. Thank you for all that you do!

  2. Dearest Amanda,
Wishing you all the best for a great 2014!
    Hugs,

Amanda, I have learned so much from your free stuff and your tutorials on your own and with Pretty Preset. As I have toyed with the idea of casting my professional net, I have come to realize that it requires a lot of work beyond taking photos!! I will retire soon, and while I enjoy photography and digital scrapbooking — I do not want to work at a business – even my own! So kuddos to you for all you have done while teaching your own and maintaining a life. I enjoy learning and appreciate your talent.

  5. thanks for sharing all the best to you and yours cheers to a wonderful 2014!

  7. Good news Amanda! I’ll be excited to see you go forward and have success! I’m relatively new to your site. I’ve loved the webinars and the tutorials I’ve found here.

  8. Happy New Year. Looking forward to learning more from you. I am still using ideas you taught us at Prime.
