I bought version 10 the day after it came out and I have been very pleased with the new features they added to the program.
- Rule of Thirds grid and other overlays to the crop tool
- Type tool that allow text to follow circular paths
- Improved speed and flow of Organizer
- Ability to access Facebook friends list for tagging images in Organizer, for later upload to Facebook
- More templates for creating collages and photo albums
At the very bottom of this post, there is a video giving a little tour of Photoshop Elements 10.
A question asked a lot when a new version of Photoshop Elements is released is: “Should I upgrade?” Here is my .02 worth on it:
- If you have PSE 7 or older, definitely upgrade. So much has been added and enhanced that it is worth the money to upgrade.
- If you have PSE 8 or PSE 9, no, I probably wouldn’t upgrade. Honestly, if you have some extra funds, I would recommend buying Lightroom 3 to use in combination with your PSE, rather than upgrading to PSE 10.

Beginning of fall! I love the warm, but not too warm, days. Crisper evenings and sweatshirts. Beautiful changing colors everywhere. The smell of the falling leaves.
There is something to Love about every season here in Colorado. I thought that my favorite was spring because of all of the new flowers but I really think that Fall is my favorite. I just recently photographed the most awesome fall colors right in my own neighborhood!

Winter is Southern California is my favorite time of year. Crisp, clear blue skies, no smog, sweater weather with cold nights to cuddle up with a cup of tea make me really happy!
I like all seasons but I think Soring the most. All that color and sunshine after a long winter just makes me happy.

I live in south Louisiana, we don’t really have seasons!! My favorite time of the year is when it’s not too hot, not too cold and not raining…that happens several times throughtout the year; yes, even in “winter.” (I guess that describes Spring in other parts of the country, huh?)

Generally I would say my favorite season is Fall, but since Oklahoma has decided to skip from Summer straight into Winter the past few years I’ll go with Spring. 🙂

I live in So FL so fall is my favorite, not for changing leaves or such. It’s because the oppressive heat and the threat of a hurricane is over.
