This week I shared five things to know about memory cards at Tech Your Way, with tips for buying and using them. I thought it would be fun to share with you which card is my favorite AND give one away!
I started out using Sans Disk cards but switched over to using Lexar soon after. Why? I am not sure why, quite honestly. Lexar seemed to be the ones more professional photographers used, so I simply followed the leader. Sad, but true.
All that said, I have yet to have a Lexar card fail (be corrupted) and I’m always pleased with the write time (how long it takes the image to be saved to the memory card in your camera).
I am currently in Charlotte, NC, for my third and final trip in just four weeks! It has been very hard to keep up with posting this month, so doing a giveaway will help alleviate my guilt and hopefully make someone a happy photographer/enthusiast.
What is the prize? Either a Lexar 8 GB CF card or a Lexar 8 GB SD card (depends on winner’s camera). GIVEAWAY IS OVER.

I currently use 3 Sandisk memory cards. Two 16 and one 8 gb cards.
I’ve never had a problem with them.
I have one Sandisk memory card that I can currently use. Would love to have another one for backup!

I use one SD card for my camera. I’ve been planning on buying another one but so far ….. haven’t. I gave one away to my daughter who didn’t have one for her point and shoot so I used to have two 🙂
I have about 6 cards, but would love to have another. I never delete a session until delivered to clients. So it seems i always need another!

I own five cards; two 8’s, two 4’s and one 2. Have are Lexars and half are Sandisk. I can always use another one. :o)
I actually only own 1, sad, I know. It’s a 4 gb Lexar, it’s fantastic but I really do need another.
I own about ten. I am kinda superstitious about back up. I keep the card full of a photo shoot until EVERYTHING is paid for….as well as backing up from hard drive. I little nutty but on the safe side!
My husband is the card collector and says we have about seven. There’s always room for more.

I own about 8-10 of them now and almost ready to buy another. I cannot seem to erase any photos I take, so when one card fills up, I am out there buying another! I take photos almost everyday, so I guess that is why I have so many. Practice, practice, etc. Thanks for the chance to win!
I have a SanDisk 8GB and a VERY old Lexar 1GB. I have just started shooting in RAW about 6 months ago and I really need more cards. My 8GB is completely full right now and I never format them until everything is edited and backed up.

I have @ 6-8 CF cards, 256MB up to 4 GB I have accumulated through the years, but use only 2-4 of the larger capacity ones on a shoot.
I live near Charlotte and wish I had known you were in the area. If you do another workshop here, I would love to attend.
